Tsonga rapper Sho Madjozi (28) is set to make her first cameo as herself on SABC2 Venda soapie Muvhango.
The rapper, poet, and singer is ticking acting off her bucket list and cannot wait for her few lines on the show.
“I say a few lines on the show, but that is good enough for me. I am a writer and being in front of a camera having to deliver lines is nerve wrecking but it’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I’m just too thrilled to appear on my favourite TV show.”
Sho Madjozi grew up watching Muvhango.
“It always reminds me of where I come from, my culture and brings me closer to home,” she says.
“So, for me; this is a big deal, an achievement to represent my people doing what I love.”
